Questions?

What do I need to take with me to my birthing location in order to be prepared for the encapsulation process? We send you a package with everything you will need! You will have a cooler bag and instructions for storage until we arrive.

How soon after I text you will you pick up? Once we receive your call or text that you have birthed we will work with you to schedule a pickup time or schedule a time to come to your home. Your placenta can be processed in your home or your encapsulation specialist will take it and bring it back to you. You decide!

How/when will I receive the finished capsules? The process takes two days to complete. Your encapsulation specialist will let you know when your capsules are ready and arrange a time to drop off that is convenient for you.

How is the placenta handled and processed so I know it’s safe? We take great care to keep our placenta encapsulation service the safest available. Only one placenta is ever prepared at a time, so there is never a chance of an accidental switch or any cross contamination of any kind. All materials used are either disposable or thoroughly sanitized and disinfected according to federal and state standards. We follow the same guidelines for cleanliness and sanitation that are used in food service establishments and small laboratories and utilize the sterile technique. All of our specialists are OSHA trained in bloodborne pathogens and have completed the N.Y. state training in safe food handling and preparation, strictly following these guidelines

How should I take my placenta capsules? You will receive a recommended dosage on your jar of capsules for you to keep and refer to. You can adjust dosage to suit your postpartum needs. There is no overdose. By encapsulating, you are able to extend the benefits through your postpartum recovery and beyond.

“I suffered from depression and anxiety after the birth of my first child. I heard that taking placenta capsules could help. I admit it seemed weird to me, but honestly there isn’t anything I wouldn’t try to avoid that again. I was amazed at how it helped me. My second and third postpartum experiences were completely different and so much better than my first, and I truly believe it was taking my capsules.”
